Job Description
SAVYMINDS is looking for a hands-on Product & Go-to-Market Lead to build and own the connection between our market, customers, products, and commercial growth. SAVYMINDS is building an operational AI platform and focused workflow applications for organizations that need AI systems to fit real data, controls, integrations, and deployment environments. Our work goes beyond demonstrations and isolated AI tools. We help customers connect systems, configure workflows, introduce appropriate human review and governance, and operationalize AI inside the environments where work already happens. This role will own the path from identifying the right market problems through acquiring, activating, and growing customers. You will work directly with the founder, engineering team, prospective customers, partners, and early users to define where SAVYMINDS should compete, how our products should be positioned, how opportunities should be converted, and what the company should build next. This is not a traditional backlog-only Product Owner role, a campaign-only marketing position, or a quota-only sales role. It is a zero-to-one operating role for someone who can move between product strategy, customer discovery, positioning, demand generation, enterprise sales, customer activation, and product adoption. The successful candidate will help SAVYMINDS build a repeatable customer-to-product-to-revenue operating system.
Product and Market Discovery
- Identify the customer segments, industries, operating workflows, and buyer profiles where SAVYMINDS can create the strongest differentiated value.
- Conduct structured interviews with prospective customers, users, partners, subject-matter experts, and industry stakeholders.
- Understand how customers currently perform the workflow, where operational friction exists, which systems are involved, and what constraints affect adoption.
- Separate recurring market needs from one-off customer requests.
- Define and continuously refine the ideal customer profile, buyer personas, use cases, and priority market segments.
- Analyze competitors, alternative solutions, internal customer-built systems, and the cost of customers continuing with their existing processes.
- Recommend which market opportunities SAVYMINDS should pursue, defer, or reject.
- Turn customer and market evidence into clear product and commercial decisions.
Product Positioning, Messaging, and Packaging
- Translate complex platform capabilities into clear customer problems, business outcomes, and differentiated value propositions.
- Develop positioning and messaging for SAVYMINDS, its platform foundation, focused workflow products, and industry-specific applications.
- Define how the company explains its value to business buyers, technical evaluators, operational teams, security stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Create product narratives, customer presentations, demonstration flows, one-pagers, case studies, website content, proposals, and sales-enablement materials.
- Package platform capabilities into understandable offers, including discovery engagements, pilots, workflow implementations, platform subscriptions, and deployment options.
- Work with the founder to develop pricing principles, pilot structures, commercial packages, and expansion paths.
- Ensure that product promises accurately reflect what the engineering team and platform can deliver.
- Maintain competitive and market intelligence that informs positioning, product direction, and sales strategy.
Demand Generation and Pipeline Development
- Build the initial demand-generation and account-development strategy for SAVYMINDS.
- Identify target accounts, decision-makers, operational champions, technical stakeholders, and potential partners.
- Develop focused outbound, founder-led selling, thought leadership, event, referral, partnership, and account-based strategies.
- Create qualified customer conversations rather than optimizing for vanity metrics such as impressions, website visits, or unqualified leads.
- Establish clear qualification standards based on customer need, workflow fit, urgency, authority, technical feasibility, deployment requirements, and commercial potential.
- Build repeatable processes for account research, prioritization, outreach, follow-up, and opportunity progression.
- Use AI and automation appropriately for research, enrichment, segmentation, personalization, follow-up, and reporting while maintaining human review over important customer communication.
- Determine which acquisition channels produce meaningful enterprise opportunities and which should be stopped.
- Maintain accurate pipeline visibility and ensure that opportunities do not stall because of weak follow-up or unclear ownership.
Enterprise Sales and Commercial Conversion
- Lead or support the complete early-stage sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery through demonstrations, proposals, pilots, negotiation, and closing.
- Conduct customer discovery that identifies the actual workflow problem, business consequences, stakeholders, systems, data, constraints, and success criteria.
- Deliver product demonstrations that are tailored to the customer's operating context rather than generic feature presentations.
- Build business cases that connect SAVYMINDS capabilities to measurable operational, financial, risk, customer, or workforce outcomes.
- Work with engineering to assess integration, security, data, deployment, and implementation requirements.
- Develop pilot proposals with defined scope, responsibilities, timelines, inputs, success measures, and conversion conditions.
- Coordinate stakeholder engagement across executive buyers, business users, technical teams, security teams, procurement, and implementation participants.
- Manage objections, follow-ups, commercial discussions, and decision processes.
- Work closely with the founder on strategic accounts, partnerships, pricing, negotiations, and final commercial decisions.
- Document successful discovery, demonstration, proposal, and closing patterns so they can become repeatable playbooks.
Customer Activation and Success
- Ensure that expectations established during sales are accurately transferred into onboarding and implementation.
- Define customer goals, baseline conditions, success criteria, responsibilities, review points, and adoption plans before delivery begins.
- Coordinate with engineering and customer stakeholders to help customers activate the platform within their workflow and operating environment.
- Monitor onboarding progress, time to first value, workflow adoption, usage, customer feedback, blockers, and realized outcomes.
- Establish structured customer review and feedback processes.
- Identify customers or deployments at risk before dissatisfaction or disengagement becomes irreversible.
- Help customers understand and adopt relevant platform capabilities without overwhelming them with unnecessary features.
- Develop customer education, onboarding guidance, demonstration assets, and adoption materials.
- Identify opportunities for renewal, expansion, additional workflows, integrations, users, and deployment capabilities.
- Turn successful customer outcomes into references, case studies, testimonials, and repeatable market proof.
Product Strategy and Prioritization
- Convert customer evidence into product direction rather than forwarding isolated feature requests directly to engineering.
- Identify patterns across customer conversations, sales opportunities, product usage, implementation experience, and support needs.
- Help define product vision, target workflows, customer outcomes, roadmap themes, and prioritization principles.
- Recommend which capabilities should become reusable platform services, focused products, workflow templates, solution accelerators, connectors, or customer-specific implementations.
- Work with engineering and design teams to clarify user problems, product outcomes, requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in roadmap planning and prioritization based on customer value, strategic relevance, technical feasibility, market differentiation, and commercial potential.
- Validate proposed product directions with users and prospective customers before unnecessary engineering investment.
- Support product release planning, customer communication, rollout, adoption, and post-release evaluation.
- Ensure that the roadmap remains focused rather than becoming an accumulation of unrelated customer requests.
GTM Systems, Data, and Analytics
- Establish and maintain the systems required to manage the customer lifecycle from first interaction through adoption and expansion.
- Define CRM stages, qualification criteria, required data, opportunity ownership, follow-up standards, and reporting expectations.
- Consolidate customer information across marketing interactions, discovery calls, sales activity, proposals, onboarding, usage, support, and customer reviews.
- Build practical reporting for pipeline health, stage conversion, sales-cycle progression, activation, adoption, retention, expansion, and customer outcomes.
- Use call notes, transcripts, customer feedback, product usage, and win/loss information to improve messaging, qualification, sales execution, and product priorities.
- Establish appropriate account scoring, opportunity scoring, and customer-health indicators.
- Automate repetitive operational work without hiding important decisions inside unreviewed systems.
- Preserve traceability so the team can understand why an account was targeted, why an opportunity advanced, why a customer is at risk, or why a product decision was made.
- Recommend future GTM, sales, customer success, product, or operations hires based on demonstrated workload and validated business needs.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as the primary operating bridge among customers, the founder, engineering, design, delivery, and external partners.
- Bring clear customer and market context into technical discussions.
- Bring technical constraints and implementation realities into customer and commercial discussions.
- Establish clear ownership, decisions, next steps, and follow-through across customer-facing initiatives.
- Communicate honestly about risks, dependencies, limitations, and tradeoffs.
- Help the company remain focused on product and customer outcomes rather than internal activity.
- Build playbooks, documentation, templates, and processes that allow future team members to operate consistently.
- Support the founder in determining when specialized functions should be separated into dedicated product, sales, marketing, customer success, implementation, or GTM operations roles.
Required Qualifications
- Eight or more years of relevant experience across product management, go-to-market, enterprise software, growth, sales, solutions consulting, customer success, or related operating roles.
- Demonstrated experience working in an early-stage, zero-to-one, or new-product environment.
- Experience bringing a B2B technology product, platform, or workflow solution from market discovery toward customer adoption and commercial growth.
- Evidence of personally conducting customer discovery rather than relying only on market-research summaries.
- Experience defining or refining ideal customer profiles, buyer personas, positioning, messaging, and product value propositions.
- Experience participating directly in enterprise sales cycles, including discovery, demonstrations, proposals, stakeholder management, and commercial follow-up.
- Ability to understand technical products and communicate credibly with engineers, architects, business users, and executive buyers.
- Experience converting customer needs into product requirements, roadmap recommendations, and commercial packages.
- Understanding of customer onboarding, activation, adoption, retention, and expansion.
- Experience with CRM systems, pipeline management, customer data, commercial reporting, and workflow automation.
- Strong written communication and the ability to create clear customer-facing and internal materials.
- Strong analytical judgment and the ability to distinguish evidence from assumptions.
- Ability to operate independently without waiting for a mature team, established playbook, or fully defined process.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with enterprise AI, machine learning, data platforms, analytics platforms, workflow automation, developer tools, or technical SaaS products.
- Experience selling or implementing products that integrate with customer systems, data sources, APIs, security controls, or enterprise infrastructure.
- Familiarity with hosted, connected, private-cloud, on-premises, hybrid, or controlled deployment environments.
- Experience working with regulated, operationally complex, or high-consequence industries.
- Background in product marketing, solutions consulting, product management, founding sales, or a hybrid product-commercial role.
- Experience developing pilots, proofs of value, implementation plans, ROI models, or enterprise business cases.
- Practical experience using AI for account research, customer analysis, content development, sales support, customer-success monitoring, or GTM operations.
- Experience working directly with founders or executive leadership in an early-stage company.
- Experience helping determine when an integrated early-stage role should be separated into specialized teams.
