Job Description
As a Geo-Spatial Data Architect at SAVYMINDS, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, visualizing maintaining, and optimizing Geographic Information System (GIS) applications. You will leverage GIS tools and technologies to integrate, analyze, report manage spatial data, integrate various datasets, and create advanced geospatial solutions supporting business decisions with location-based insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze spatial data through mapping software like ArcGIS, QGIS, and similar tools.
- Create detailed maps, dashboards, and reports that incorporate geospatial and business data.
- Collaborate with BI Analysts to integrate geospatial data into broader business intelligence efforts.
- Conduct spatial analysis to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities relevant to business operations.
- Develop custom geospatial models and visualizations for predictive analysis and decision-making.
- Design and implement GIS applications and databases to support spatial data analysis.
- Integrate GIS with other data sources to provide comprehensive geospatial insights.
- Develop custom scripts and tools for spatial data processing and analysis.
- Collaborate with Data Visualization Specialists to ensure that spatial data is effectively represented in maps and dashboards.
- Optimize GIS systems for performance, scalability, and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in GIS tools (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and geospatial data analysis.
- Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or similar GIS automation.
- Experience in developing and managing geospatial databases and GIS services.
- Knowledge of spatial data formats, data integration, and remote sensing technologies.
