Job Description
As a Data Governance Specialist at SAVYMINDS, you will ensure the proper management, quality, and security of data across all projects. You will implement governance frameworks, policies, and compliance measures to safeguard data integrity and ensure that data practices align with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures across all projects.
- Collaborate with Data Architects and Engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
- Implement data governance frameworks that comply with regulations such as GDPR, HIPAA, etc.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure data is being managed and stored appropriately.
- Lead initiatives to promote data stewardship and awareness across the organization.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica) and practices.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Ability to develop data governance frameworks and implement them across diverse data environments.
