Job Description: As a Product Owner at SAVYMINDS, you will oversee the successful planning, execution, and delivery of AI projects. You will be the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget. You will be responsible for defining and prioritizing product features that align with business goals and customer needs. You will bridge the gap between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that the AI products we build deliver maximum value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Define project scope, objectives, and timelines. Develop detailed project plans, including milestones, resources, and risk management strategies.
  • Team Coordination: Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment between stakeholders, developers, data scientists, and designers.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, ensuring resource allocation aligns with project goals. Identify and mitigate any potential cost overruns.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Client Communication: Act as the main liaison between the client and internal teams, providing regular status updates and managing client expectations.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all deliverables meet quality standards before final submission to clients.
  • Product Vision: Define and communicate the product vision and strategy in alignment with business objectives and client requirements.
  • Backlog Management: Create and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring that development teams work on the highest-value features.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, project managers, and development teams to gather requirements and provide clarity on the product roadmap.
  • Acceptance Criteria: Define and refine acceptance criteria for product features, ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product decisions and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • User Feedback: Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve the product and adapt to changing needs.

 

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience managing complex technology projects, preferably within AI, data science, or software development.
  • Strong understanding of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project).
  • PMP or Agile certification.
  • Strong background in product management, particularly in AI, data science, or software development environments.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Scrum.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
